Photo Edit Disclosure

Restay edits Airbnb listing photos to improve their appeal — declutter, relight, color grade, sky replace. We follow Airbnb's content policy, which requires that listing photos accurately represent the actual space. Our edits are non-additive: we never add furniture, never remove permanent fixtures, never change room layouts, and never fabricate amenities.
What we do (edit-only)
- Declutter. We remove visible clutter — cables, remotes, half-empty drink containers, unfolded throws — that doesn't represent the listing's typical staged state for guests.
- Relight + color grade. Brighten dark interiors, warm cool casts, lift shadows, and color-grade for inviting tones — the same work a professional photo editor would do by hand.
- Sky replacement. If a window or exterior shows a flat overcast sky, we replace it with a soft golden-hour gradient. The view itself stays geometrically identical.
- Sharpen architectural features. Edges, lines, and trim made crisper.
What we don't do
- We never add furniture, decor, plants, or fixtures that aren't in the source photo.
- We never remove permanent fixtures (cabinets, lights, vents, structural elements).
- We never change the room layout, walls, ceiling, floor, windows, doors, or camera angle.
- We never generate entirely new rooms or composite scenes.
Quality control
Every output is automatically reviewed for artifacts (distorted geometry, fabricated objects, perspective drift). Photos that fail QC are excluded from delivery. Our minimum-photo threshold for a paid order is 8 — if QC rejects more than 2 of your photos, the order auto-refunds.
Originals retained
We retain your source photos for 30 days after delivery. The host (you) can request them at any time, and they're available alongside the edited set in your delivery page automatically.
Recommended footnote for your listing
Optional but recommended — adding a short note to your description signals good-faith compliance with Airbnb's photo policy:
"Photos professionally edited for lighting, color, and clutter only. No furniture or fixtures added or removed. Originals available on request."
If a guest or Airbnb asks
You may forward our disclosure URL — https://restay.agency/disclosure — or attach the original (unedited) photo from your delivery page, which is retained for 30 days post-delivery.
